Vitor Belfort lived up to all the hype knocking out Rich Franklyn in the 1st round. The pair danced around for the couple of minutes with little action. Then Belfort began to move forward and the pair exchanged. Belfort grazed Franklyn on the top of the head put him down, and finished him with a couple more shots.
Belfort will rightfully be next in line to face Anderson Silva. I think he has the tools to beat Silva but I’d prefer him to prove himself a bit more first.
The way the middle weight division is at the moment this is the most inturguing fight, the UFC doesnt have a long list of worthy challangers (who Silva hasn’t beat already) to pick from. The Vitor bandwagon has already started on the MMA forums, this what we want, and it looks like we’ll get it.
